VNPT possesses an extra 40% of backup international Internet capacity, continues to assert quality of service

Alongside launching Vietnam’s first 10Gbps Internet infrastructure project, VNPT is currently maintaining up to 40% capacity of backup international Internet transmission, ready to serve customers in any scenario.

According to VNPT’s representative, with the current capacity, VNPT guarantees fast connection speed to international servers even during rush hours. During rush hours, international Internet broadband usage efficiency accounts for approximately 60 percent of VNPT’s available capacity.

VNPT also reserves up to 40% international Internet capacity, ready to serve customers in all scenarios, well meeting quality standards from the Ministry of Information and Communications. Alongside backing up capacity for increasing demands for broadband, VNPT’s Internet’s quality is also guaranteed at above the national average. According to VNPT’s quality assessment results, download speed in May fluctuated between 92Mbps and 111Mbps, higher than the national average of 90,59 Mbps. VNPT’s upload speed of 92,09Mbps is also higher than the national average of 89,56Mbps.
