VNPT's network operator quickly supports people in provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi

VNPT Group's VNPT's Vinaphone mobile network operator has mobilized 100% of its resources to ensure communication for people in areas affected by Typhoon Yagi.

On September 8, 2024, VinaPhone network has just decided to urgently implement a number of telecommunications policies to support people and customers in localities affected by Typhoon Yagi.

Specifically, VinaPhone provides customers in areas affected by Typhoon Yagi in 6 provinces including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, and Hanoi with free 100 minutes of domestic calling (internal/external network) and 15Gb Data within 3 days from the time of receiving the notification message. This policy of VinaPhone will help people feel secure in updating their families while overcoming the consequences of the super storm. In addition, VinaPhone also supports Internet and television fees for thousands of customers whose services were interrupted during the storm. VinaPhone is currently continuously updating the situation and supporting customers via text messages and 24/7 customer service hotline.

Previously, on September 7, when Typhoon Yagi was raging in mainland Vietnam, causing power outages and affecting telecommunications infrastructure on a large scale, VinaPhone shared mobile waves with other networks to accompany People overcome the super storm.
