To synchronize telecommunications infrastructure, provide essential information connections for people in Lang Nu hamlet in the resettlement area, and create favorable conditions for locals, on September 19, 2024, VNPT started installing a BTS broadcasting station at the construction site of a new hamlet for the people of Lang Nu. The BTS station will be built on a hill in Luong Son commune, Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province, 800m from the resettlement area and 2km from the rescue area.
VNPT is highly determined to complete the project as soon as possible, helping people in the area to quickly connect, easily communicate and use modern telecommunications services, and at the same time, maximize communication line of the rescue team, making an important contribution to recovery and emergency support work.
This is not only VNPT's effort to expand the telecommunications network but also a commitment to bring the best value to the community. VNPT will continue to accompany local authorities in implementing Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's direction which says that before December 31, 2024, a new village must be built in Lang Nu hamlet.
