VNPT Money aims to have 500,000 payment points nationwide in 2022

On November 25, 2021, VNPT was the first operator in Vietnam to be licensed to pilot a mobile money service called VNPT Money nationwide.

While most e-wallets are present in major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, VNPT Money has developed a market and agent network across 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam with more than 100,000 payment points (and this number is still increasing) in many different fields: Fashion, Food, Supermarket, Sports & Entertainment... This allows VNPT's digital financial services to reach all villages and towns in Vietnam, bringing both farmers and workers into the financial system.

Specifically, VNPT has deployed 113,000 VNPT Money payment points and is striving to reach 500,000 points in this 2022, aiming to promote the digital transformation in the field of payment for for small businesses and individual business households.
