On May 26, 2022, in Hanoi, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement.
The signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement in 2022 is a continuation and affirmation of the prestigious, traditional and comprehensive cooperation between Vietcombank and VNPT over many past years. This agreement emphasizes on the following goals of the bilateral cooperation: developing digital payment services and platforms, contributing to accelerating the progress of the two sides' digital transformation.
Accordingly, Vietcombank and VNPT will prioritize using each other's services, especially focusing on promoting cooperation in the following areas: Wholesale banking (including payment and cash flow management services, Cash products, Credit, Foreign Exchange); Retail banking (Product packages for capital financing, savings deposits and modern banking services such as e-banking, bill payment, money transfer...) as well as telecommunication products and services – Technology (Digital transformation solutions, improving customer experience, digitizing internal management solutions…); The two sides also intended to promote business cooperation in digital payment services (QRcode; linking e-wallets, VNPT Money digital financial ecosystem...); Cooperation in mining big data, Cooperation in implementing Blockchain platform…
