Recently, General Director of VNPT Group Huynh Quang Liem had a meeting and worked with the delegation of the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province led by Mr. Tran Ngoc Tam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the meeting, the two sides evaluated the results of more than 03 years of implementing the cooperation agreement on telecommunications and information technology between the People's Committee of Ben Tre province and VNPT Group.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Tam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre province, said that the locality was actively implementing solutions to digital transformation of industries and fields as well as directing and operating activities of the locality. Especially, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province cooperated with VNPT Ben Tre to deploy some softwares such as VNPT iOffice operating and document management system; the province's information and reporting system. At the same time, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province deployed and built the province's IOC Center, integrated socio-economic information, health and education information, initially achieved some results. However, the locality still had some difficulties in standardizing and integrating data as well as collecting and connecting information quickly, accurately and synchronously from agencies and units in the province.
VNPT and the People's Committee of Ben Tre province have reviewed the cooperation agreement for the period of 2020-2030 and the orientation for cooperation in digital transformation for the period of 2023-2025.
Speaking at the meeting, General Director of VNPT Huynh Quang Liem said that in the coming period, VNPT Group would study and combine the function of storing electronic records on the VNPT iOffice document management and operating system; have policies to support digital transformation projects in the education and health sectors; synchronously connecting the previously implemented software system with the software system that is about to be deployed in the field of agriculture: ... At the same time, VNPT's products will become more and more perfect to contribute to the successful implementation of the digital transformation of Ben Tre province in particular and the country in general.
