On December 10, 2021, the People's Committee of Soc Trang province held a ceremony to receive and redistribute VinaPhone 4G tablets and sim cards to disadvantaged students under the program "Waves and computers for children" from VNPT Soc Trang.
Specifically, VNPT Soc Trang gave disadvantaged students in Soc Trang 2,637 tablets, each with a Vinaphone 4G sim card, to participate in online learning, ensuring that no student was "left behind" due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the program "Waves and computers for children", VNPT Group and its member units wish to spread the spirit of kindness and unity as well as the industry's traditional values of gratitude, expressing solidarity with the community of VNPT people, and at the same time transmitting more positive energy in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic; narrowing the digital gap between remote and urban areas; between disadvantaged students and more fortunate students; speeding up mobile coverage to places where there is no mobile internet connection, supporting online teaching and learning policies for localities affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
