VNPT joins hands to support the poor to overcome difficulties during the epidemic season

In the face of complicated epidemic situation, in addition to actively implementing drastic measures to prevent COVID-19 epidemic, VNPT in Tien Giang province organized rice support activities for poor and low-income households with difficult circumstances due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic in the area.

With the aim of leaving no one behind because of the COVID-19 epidemic, VNPT in Tien Giang province has approved the local government’s plan to organize a donation of 10 tons of rice (10kg/package) to people in difficult circumstances. In the area, to help people overcome difficulties during the epidemic season, all the above-mentioned gifts are mainly contributed by employees of Tien Giang area, private benefactors, and VNPT's funding source in Tien Giang province.

To carry out the safe distribution, VNPT in Tien Giang has sent representatives to coordinate with local authorities, using motorbikes to carry rice to each household's house, avoiding large gatherings.
