According to statistics, to be able to pay for public services, administrative procedures and essential services, it usually takes each person 3-5 days or even a week to complete the necessary procedures for taxes, fees and charges. However, the Payment Platform built by VNPT has gone against that process, changing users' views on payment for public services. And as a matter of fact, the foundation was excellently honored at the 2021 Sao Khue Awards in the field of Digital Government.
In 2021, VNPT Pay will waive payment transactions on the National Service Portal to encourage and create conducive conditions for people, organizations and businesses to use cashless payment methods. VNPT affirmed: Payment Platform aims to provide 100% of public services in Vietnam, facilitating the fulfillment of financial obligations for citizens in a scientific and economical manner. According to the Government's strategy by 2025, the Payment Platform is an important factor in completing the strategy to promote financial inclusion in Vietnam.
This platform not only brings a professional and modern image, contributes to the completion of the National Public Service Portal when providing administrative tools, allowing the organization's cash flow management, management control with partners, provide statistical tools, reports, BI for administration but also encourage people to increase the use of online services by many preeminent utilities. At the same time, it helps to simplify the management of service providers, towards a comprehensive digital economy of the Digital Government.
