Telecommunications enterprises, including VNPT, are continuously expanding network coverage and improving service quality in Bac Kan, playing a crucial role in the province's digital transformation efforts and laying a solid foundation for local socio-economic development.
VNPT has been actively expanding its digital infrastructure in Bac Kan province, focusing on establishing 3G/4G mobile base stations in weak signal areas and regions without coverage to ensure seamless connectivity for residents. At the same time, VNPT is also accelerating the deployment of 5G services in district centres and cities to enhance telecommunications service quality.
Alongside telecommunications infrastructure development, telecom enterprises in Bac Kan are also promoting digital transformation solutions. Various initiatives supporting cashless payments and the application of digital signatures in electronic transactions have been implemented. VNPT is also collaborating with local government departments to build specialized databases in sectors such as agriculture, construction, and natural resources – environment. Additionally, the Intelligent Operations Centre (IOC) at the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee is set to officially launch soon, enhancing digital-based management, monitoring, and operations.
