VNPT increasingly shares facilities with other network providers

On June 10^th, 2020, VNPT Group, Viettel Group and Gtel International Joint Stock Mobile Telecommunication Company signed the agreement to collaborate on the common access to network developing infrastructure.

Accordingly, VNPT and other enterprises have reached a consensus about the maximization on the sharing of BTS/NodeB platform facilities.

With this new deal, in 2020, VNPT and Viettel will share hundreds of broadcasters, thereby optimize on the investment and efficiency of both sides.

Regarding Gtel, in the 2020-2021 period, VNPT Group expects to utilize 253 of this network provider’s platform in order to serve the new broadcasting, and Gtel also pledged to prioritize using VNPT’s platforms when having demands for suitable locations.
