On February 11, 2025, at the Government headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference on the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and high-quality human resources to promote the country’s economic growth.
Attendees at the conference included leaders from various ministries, central and local agencies, as well as some large corporations and enterprises. Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, CEO of VNPT Group, participated and delivered a speech, highlighting the Group's commitment to contributing to the completion of the AI institutional framework, with a clear focus on four key pillars: human resources, infrastructure, data, and technology.
In particular, VNPT will announce 100% Make-in-Vietnam open AI platforms, aiming for rapid, sustainable, autonomous development and fair competition in artificial intelligence with major global companies. The Group is always committed to pioneering in proposing and taking on major tasks and challenges from the Government in the field of digital technology and AI to serve the country and the people of Vietnam.
After listening to the speeches, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh concluded the conference by emphasizing: “We will raise our growth target to 8%, focusing on the development of science, technology, digital transformation, innovation, and the training of high-quality human resources to boost the country's economic growth."
The development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and high-quality human resources will contribute to the restructuring of the economy. It is necessary to accelerate the development of infrastructure, including digital infrastructure, smart infrastructure, and the establishment of innovation centres nationwide.
With this development orientation from the Government, it is certain that new and expansive development opportunities will open up for VNPT Group in 2025 and in the coming years.
