On March 2, 2023, VNPT and the Post and Telecommunications - Informatics Joint Stock Company (VNPT VinaPhone-CTIN Joint Venture) officially signed a contract with the investor – Nam Dinh Children's Hospital to supply and install the electronic health record system for Children's Hospital in Nam Dinh province under the project "Implementing electronic health records at Children's Hospital in Nam Dinh province".
Electronic medical records are considered a step forward in the management of medical records, effectively serving medical examination and treatment activities; thereby helping to save time, costs and human resources, bring high accuracy, simplify administrative procedures. Electronic medical records are the target of many hospitals across the country, including Nam Dinh. This is also one of the five priority areas for digital transformation in Nam Dinh province in the plan to build and implement the smart health development project toward 2025, with orientation to 2030.
The contract signing ceremony is considered a good start of VNPT in Nam Dinh after many efforts to prepare its capacity and resources as well as complete all documentation procedures to participate and win this bidding package on the national bidding website in an open and transparent manner.
